The Packing Room is a small multi-use venue. This light-filled space features raw industrial interiors, distressed patina, concrete flooring, and a dedicated wet area. This venue is ideal for art classes and workshops.
The venue opens onto the Sacred Heart Courtyard and is close to North Magdalen Laundry and Industrial School, making it an excellent green room or break out space.
The venue features LED panel lights, and for this reason is an ideal space for traditional craftwork workshops, sewing, drawing, and typography. The Packing Room’s wet area features a large trough for cleaning paint and other arts materials. Additional facilities including tables, chairs, heaters and fans are available to hirers, in addition to basic AV equipment.
The Packing Room is wheelchair accessible.
Baby change facilities are available in the nearby Sacred Heart Courtyard.
