A place like no other, our National Heritage listed precinct relies on you, alongside the State Government and other funders, to ensure it thrives 365 days a year. We cannot undertake our important and complex work without you. Your gift will enable the Abbotsford Convent Foundation to continue to maintain this Heritage listed precinct and bring creative programming and services that benefit the community throughout the year.

Heritage restoration, conservation and maintenance
Abbotsford Convent is a thriving creative precinct, however, it is an expensive space to maintain. A number of Victoria’s oldest buildings are on site, and many have not had significant work done since their construction over 150 years ago. Donations are vital for the ongoing maintenance and refurbishment of the Convent site. Your gift, no matter how big or small, will help the ACF complete critical restoration works to protect and secure these heritage buildings for generations to come.
Arts and cultural programming
As one of Australia’s leading arts and cultural precincts, the ACF is dedicated to creating year-round programming that inspires and engages the community. Your support could help us bring the precinct to life through projects and avenues including Convent Kids and Convent Live.
Gardens and grounds
The Convent’s 6.8 hectares of green open space offer a place of retreat, 365 days a year. We are working hard to ensure our heritage gardens survive and thrive for generations to come, and continue to play a vital role in connecting community, fostering wellbeing and nurturing wildlife in their natural habitat.
No other venue in Melbourne has such an extraordinary combination of heritage buildings, arts and cultural programs and expansive historic gardens and grounds. Your support is an investment in the future of this incredible place. Please consider making a donation today.
