With over 50 makers under one roof, shop some of Melbourne’s best emerging and established ceramicists. This glorious market allows makers to share their work with ceramic enthusiasts across a weekend.
Melbourne Ceramics Market is Melbourne’s first independent ceramics market and has been running for over 6 years. Co-founded by two potters, Daisy Cooper and Tina Thorburn, the market was born from the desire to connect makers with people who love the art of ceramics. Having been part of all manner of market, Daisy and Tina wanted to create an experience that allowed collectors a chance to explore other skilled practitioners whilst building a community of ceramic artists.
The Magdalen Laundry is wheelchair accessible. Gender diversity is welcome at the Convent, and patrons are welcome to use any restroom that matches their gender identity or expression. There are gender-neutral toilets available within the Magdalen Laundry itself and gendered toilets available in other locations within the Convent precinct. View the Public Toilet Map to find a bathroom of your preference.
