The Victorian Branch of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana invites you to its annual exhibition!
This exhibition will feature over 40 works by students and teachers alike from Victoria. This exhibition also features a number of honoured vases gifted from the collection of the late Cherie Glaser, a former teacher and Director of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana Victorian Branch.
Sogetsu Ikebana was introduced into Victoria in the early 60s and the Branch was founded in 1964. Sogetsu is one of the modern schools of ikebana with an emphasis on freedom of expression encouraged once the student has developed proficiency in the core principles of the art of ikebana.
The Linen Room is wheelchair accessible.
Gender diversity is welcome at the Convent, and patrons are welcome to use any restroom that matches their gender identity or expression. There are gendered toilets available close to the venue and gender-neutral toilets available in other locations within the Convent precinct. View the Public Toilet Map to find a bathroom of your preference.
