Abbotsford Farmers Market is back at the Convent from this Saturday 23 January! We are beyond excited to welcome market goers back to the precinct.

Abbotsford Farmers Market brings a host of Victorian farmers and food producers together on the fourth Saturday morning every month. The market is managed by Melbourne Farmers Markets (MFM), a social enterprise connecting Victorian farmers and food producers with seven urban neighbourhoods across Melbourne.

Abbotsford Farmers Market is fully accredited by the Victorian Farmers Market Association.

The nature of working with farmers means that unforeseen events do occur from time to time which may prevent producers listed from attending the market. The stallholder list is updated on MFM’s website the Thursday prior to a market day.

Your safety is our priority

We take your safety seriously and have put in place the following COVID safety measures:

  • Practicing and promoting physical distancing
  • Practicing and promoting good hand hygiene

  • Increasing staff
  • Altering market layout and traffic flow
  • Promoting cashless transactions (some stallholders will accept cash, but card transactions are preferred)
  • Encouraging market-goers not to touch produce
