Les Bishop’s Parlour is a traditional mid-sized space that features high ceilings, formal curtains, and a fireplace. The Parlour’s grand foyer features extensive leadlight windows, heritage terrazzo floor tiling, and a mahogany fireplace.

Located next to the original formal entry doorway into the Convent building, the Bishop’s Parlour was where the Mother Superior received her VIP guests and the women who were entering the Order. The foyer leading to the Bishop’s Parlour features the most ornate and decorative terrazzo floor within the Abbotsford Convent precinct.

Le projet du foyer Bishops Parlour a été soutenu par des subventions philanthropiques de la part de la Fondation Copland et le Fondation caritative du maire par le biais de la Eldon & Anne Foote Trust, ainsi qu'un partenariat en nature avec FDC Construction & Fitout. 

Installations

The space is WIFI-enabled. Additional facilities including tables, chairs, whiteboards, heaters and fans are available to hirers. Basic AV equipment is available to hirers.
