Feel the pulse of Africa’s beats, as four sensational 4 DJs; KGOMOTSO, MOTHAFUNK, PK & CHRIS NG spin a mesmerising blend of sounds from the motherland.
Fuel up with delectable dishes from Southern Africa’s signature street food, from shisa nyama by Zangers Bangers to West African soul food by Amas Delights and authentic Senegalese cuisine by Taste of Senegal.
Experience the Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony and delve into AFRO (LIT)ERATURE — an open and encouraging space for aspiring writers, people interested in African diasporic writing and other broader creatives to learn from award-winning Australian authors. Unwind in our Beer Garden and indulge in delightful alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by Bodriggy.

Les Communauté et Linen rooms are wheelchair accessible, however, the adjoined balcony is not wheelchair accessible. The Convent’s Heritage Gardens are wheelchair accessible. There are gendered toilets available close to the venue and gender-neutral toilets available in other locations within the Convent precinct.
