Nina Green offers experienced, warm, and down-to-earth mental health counselling for women.
Nina uses a ‘whole-person’ approach to positive change, with an understanding of the ways structural factors – such as our identities, resources, connections, coping skills, or the health of our bodies – can impact on our wellbeing.
Nina has a passion for helping clients recover their sense of vitality, and a special interest in supporting women seeking growth and healing after complex childhood experiences, as well as adult children who were raised by caregivers with emotional regulation difficulties or mental illness.
Nina provides a practical, adaptable service, drawing from a toolkit of evidence-based practices including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindful Self Compassion (MSC), Sensory Modulation and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Nina is passionate about Trauma-Informed practice, and sharing the skills and strategies that support real change.
In a session your needs and preferences are our guide to making counselling work for you as we unpack recent experiences, untangle long-standing concerns, or practice skills to help transform difficult internal experiences and manage big emotions.
Nina Green holds a Master of Counselling (Monash University) and is a registered member of The Australian Counselling Association.
