Violeta Čapovska is a Macedonian/Australian visual artist whose practice employs printmaking, installation, performance, photography, video, and textiles. Čapovska’s work focuses on the cross-cultural exploration of identity, nature, and gender.
Violeta Čapovska’s work has been exhibited and added to the gallery collections at Dianne Tanzer Gallery in Melbourne, National Gallery of Macedonia, Museum of City of Skopje, Museum of Contemporary Art, Skopje and numerous group exhibitions and private collections in Australia and Europe.
In 2016, Violeta Čapovska was a recipient of the James Northfield Lithography scholarship, and in 2021 won an art residency at the Cité International in Paris.
