Pierre Proske is an electronic media artist and designer specialising in immersive and interactive installations. Having collaborated extensively in Europe on various commissions and artistic projects in conjunction with organisations such as the Arts Electronica Futurelab and Future Applications Lab, his work involves exposing the unspoken relationships we have with technology as well as harnessing machines into exploring new aesthetics.

Pierre is a highly qualified software developer and electronics expert with past experience in the video games industry. He is the founder of electronic media arts organisation Media Lab Melbourne and runs his own creative technology studio Sensory Empire.

Pierre holds a creative practice based PhD in Design from RMIT University, where he is developing a framework for low powered, networked, audio-visual installations with a particular focus on spatial and bodily informed immersion. He is an associate lecturer in the RMIT Industrial Design program, teaching honours, creative coding, electronics and Artificial Intelligence.

Past clients include White Night, White Night Ballarat, ACMI, Experimenta, The National Wool Museum, Federation Square, Yarra Ranges Council, and The Australian Design Centre
