Design & Technology Teachers’ Association Victoria (DATTA Vic)

DATTA VIC represents and supports Design and Technologies teachers’ throughout Victoria. Our members come from the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary sectors, and teach STEAM, Product Design, Textiles Design, Electronics, Engineering, Food & Fibre, Sustainability and Emerging Technologies.

DATTA Vic delivers a busy teacher professional learning program throughout the year, including conferences, full-day workshops, regional networking groups and webinars. We produce teaching resources, a newsletter each term and Technotes, our annual journal.

DATTA Vic also advocates on behalf of Technologies teachers to state and federal government and industry, and develop partnerships which benefit teachers and students.

We work in partnership with DATTA Aus, our national body to run Design & Technologies Week each October, which celebrates the creative, critical and challenging work that takes place in D&T classrooms all over Australia.
