Chris Womersley is an award-winning author of four novels, City of Crows, Cairo, Bereft and The Low Road, and numerous short stories and occasional reviews and essays. His first short story collection, A Lovely and Terrible Thing, was published in 2019.
Chris Womersley’s short fiction has been published in literary journals such as Granta, Meanjin and Griffith Review and has won or been shortlisted for numerous prizes, including the International BBC Short Story Prize and The Josephine Ulrick Literature Prize.
Chris Womersley has also written book reviews for publications such as The Age, The Australian and The Monthly.
