Annie Ingram is a writer and aid worker.
As a writer she is most interested in creative non-fiction and is currently working on a collection of essays about death, family, responsibility and inheritance. Her writing has received an ArtsNT Varuna Fellowship and has been shortlisted for the Northern Territory Literary Awards.
As a consultant in the humanitarian, disaster management and development sectors, she works with organisations across a range of areas including writing, editing, communications, research, accountability and community engagement. She has worked in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Myanmar/Thailand, Vanuatu and Afghanistan. She has experience with the United Nations, Red Cross, NGOs and governments.
