VAMFF Future Fashion: Is it a stitch up?
Creating a kinder fashion industry has become a necessity: our growing separation from supply chains has resulted in diverted economic value, environmental waste and a loss of connection with our clothing. Fashion has always been a creative platform to action social and environmental value – this event aims to broaden the conversation on how you, the individual, can help reimagine fashion to promote what's valuable.
Presented as part of the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival, this panel discussion will deepen your understanding of slow fashion, the power of conscious consumerism, the circular economy, and how to think in possibility when it can feel like a (fast)fashion stitch up!
