Convent Kids presents: ‘Draw What You Hear’ concert by Patma
Children and their family and friends are invited to explore their creativity with a classical music concert at the Convent this May, thanks to renowned musical education group, Patma.
Following a sold out international tour, ‘Draw What You Hear’ sees legendary painter and narrator ‘Monet’ guide children to draw what they hear, as musicians perform classical music favourites.
Many classical musicians including Mozart, Beethoven, Debussy and Faure spoke of seeing music in colours. In the spirit of this, this interactive concert encourages children to awaken their senses to the beauty of classical music, drawing and colouring as they listen to the sounds around them.
Come along to experience this vibrant, fun and engaging concert. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Drawing materials will be provided. This program is suitable for children aged 3 – 10 years.
