Beginners Yoga Course
A beginners course providing systematic introductions to yoga postures, breathing, relaxation and meditation practices. Class numbers are small to ensure you receive personalised attention and adapt the practice to suit your individual needs.
Presented by Anahata Giri of the Abbotsford Convent's One Heart Yoga & Meditation studio, this eight week course will explore how yoga can develop strength, flexibility, mindfulness, mental and emotional balance and overall wellbeing. The course has an emphasis on alignment and grounding to ensure you practice safely and effectively. This course gives a firm foundation for your ongoing practice.
Suitable for those with no experience of yoga, or for those who have a little experience who want to refresh the basics. All fitness levels will be tailored for – and yes it is fine to come if you are stiff, that is what yoga is for!
