Sacred Heart Studios
The Abbotsford Convent's newly-restored Sacred Heart building is now open, offering a unique opportunity to join the Convent’s growing onsite community of more than 150 arts and cultural organisations, practitioners, creatives and makers.
A stunning building boasting an evocative industrial-style interior, the Sacred Heart building offers fit-for-use studios, showrooms, offices and retail spaces, which can be fitted-out to your requirements, respective of the Convent’s heritage overlays.
Negotiations are currently underway with prospective tenants following a recent call for Expressions of Interest, with new tenants expected to be announced in May/June 2018.
However, if you are interested in a Sacred Heart studio, it may be possible to apply for a studio outside of an EOI period.
The first step is to check that you meet the criteria required to take up a studio in Sacred Heart. To do so, please read our Sacred Heart EOI Information Pack (please disregard the dates listed in the pack, which were specific to the last call for EOIs).
If you are confident that you meet the criteria, please contact our Tenancy Team to enquire about applying for a studio.
BENEFITS OF BEING AT THE CONVENT
In addition to office and studio spaces, Sacred Heart offers four unique and diverse spaces for venue hire – including the stunning new Packing Room (with wet room capabilities for arts workshops) and Sheet Room – making meetings, seminars, rehearsals, performances and workshops easy. These rooms complement our suite of venue hire spaces – each of which are offered to tenants at a discount rate.
