In Conversation with Paavali Jumppanen

Ahead of ANAM Set Festival, one of the most monumental commissioning projects ever undertaken in Australia, we interviewed Paavali Jumppanen, acclaimed Finnish virtuoso and the Artistic Director of the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM). He discusses the joy he felt when he first visited ANAM and the inspiration Abbotsford Convent evokes, now that ANAM calls this “magical” precinct home.
