[Past Event] Mobile MESS Workshop

Mobile MESS arrives at Abbotsford Convent! Experience the magic of electronic sound creation in this fun hands-on workshop with MESS (Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio).

Mobile MESS investigates the scientific nature of sound and how we use electricity to create music. Through the workshop, young people interact and experiment with synthesisers, creating sounds and beats to produce electronic soundscapes together.

Workshops are suitable for young people aged 8-12 years and their parent/guardian. No prior musical experience is required to take part. All materials are provided, but participants are welcome to bring headphones if they would like to. Please note a parent or legal guardian must be present with their young person for the entire duration of the workshop.
