[Past Event] Coconut Creative at the Convent

Coconut Creative is coming to the Convent, with two specialised workshops designed for artistic exploration across a broad range of ages!

Creative Painting Workshop 

Come alone, or come with friends and enjoy three wonderful, creative hours of watercolour painting, guided by one of our qualified art teachers.

There will be a gourmet antipasto platter provided, with cured meats, char grilled vegetables and assorted cheeses, served with bread rolls and GF crackers — and you can always head to Cam’s after the workshop for a debrief and a glass of chilled red.

All equipment and materials will be provided – you just need to bring yourself (your friends!) and your creative curiosity. Aprons will also be provided, but we would encourage you to wear clothes you don’t mind getting a spot of paint on.

Coco Kids Creativity Class (suitable for ages 8 – 12)

Bring your family to the beautiful surrounds of the Abbotsford Convent and let their creative juices flow!

An engaging and explorative 2-hour session of painting with our watercolour specialist and art teacher. Each child will leave with a finished work of art, made by THEM!

This session is suitable for children 8 – 12-year-olds. If you’re the parent or guardian of a slightly younger child that might like to attend, you will be required to stay for the session. If your child can stay without your supervision, feel free to take a break with a delicious hot drink — or even cold, bubbly one! — at the Convent Bakery or Cam’s Kiosk. 

Please make sure to dress your child in comfortable, ‘art-proof’ clothing. All children will be provided with an apron, but the kids will be encouraged to be kids!
