Anne O’Connor works locally, nationally, and internationally with individuals, groups, organisations, and communities.
Her services include psychotherapy, supervision, coaching, and consultancy work, such as reflective practice, workshops, project work, and organisational development activities. Anne has trained in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, EMDR, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. A snapshot of her experience includes, but is not limited to, working with depression relapse prevention, anxiety reduction, mindfulness training, chronic illness management, staff support in the For-Purpose sector, grief, loss, and trauma, immigration settings, International Aid and Development, and much more. Her leadership work is informed by experience as a senior practitioner, and by leadership positions in trauma – sensitive organisations. All her work is grounded in the lived experiences of individuals, in anti-oppressive frameworks, and from a feminist position on practice. In groups, with individuals, and organisations, Anne endeavours to create respectful, inclusive, and ethical spaces that acknowledge the systems and structures impacting on health and wellbeing. |
