Presented by The Keir Foundation, Creative Australia e Critical Path, WHAT REMAINS is a free, celebratory program that revisits and amplifies some of the major contributions to Australian dance ecology, made by the Keir Choreographic Award (KCA).
Join us for a FREE party and special events to celebrate the legacy of Keir Choreographic Awards. Artists including Tra Mi Dinh, Jo Lloyd and Rebecca Jensen, will perform ‘memories’ of their works while photographer Gregory Lorenzutti and videographer Cobie Orger will present original installations featuring archived digital works created over the period of the Awards.
A new publication edited by Angela Conquet e Philipa Rothfield, COMPETING CHOREOGRAPHIES, will be launched on the night. Competing Choreographies critically maps the history, impact and implications of KCA.
As we wrap up with the party, Leisa Shelton’s SCRIBE captures your recollections and memories of the infamous experimental works supported by the KCA, as well as your experience of connecting and reconnecting with peers on the night.
