Ondru presents One Woman, All Women: a powerful storytelling art project that raises awareness and builds advocacy to increase cancer screening among multicultural women in metropolitan Melbourne and across Victoria. Una donna, tutte le donne conveys the complex intersection between lived experience, access to healthcare and the migrant, refuge and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) women.

This special evening honours Moon (Munever “Moon” Lewis) – a woman of Turkish descent, a breast cancer survivor, and storyteller. Moon’s story is one of hope and courage; and the series of portraits are powerful, personal, and profoundly intimate. By profiling Moon’s story, Ondru seeks to inspire confidence among multicultural women to prioritise their health and break down cultural barriers surrounding health.
