Four Sites

Don’t miss four of Melbourne/Naarm’s most fascinating and celebrated independent choreographers, Rebecca Jensen, Jo Lloyd, Harrison Ritchie-Jones and Lee Serle as they present four new works across Four Sites in the grounds and buildings of the Convent. Presented by Sage Arts, Abbotsford Convent and Melbourne Fringe.

Searching for Ghosts of Desire

Explore an immersive installation by former Abbotsford Convent Artist-in-Residence Dr Lisa Anderson searching for the secret and imagined stories of women who were once residents associated with the Convent’s gardens, school and laundry. The work uses sound, video and sculptural forms.

The Scrolls: 3,000 days...and counting

Witness an active archival climate-focussed artwork of extraordinary beauty and impact — presented by CLIMARTE. 

Starting on Earth Day 2022 (26 March) and ongoing until Earth Day 2030, every day for 3,000 days, award winning botanical artist Sharon Field adds a drawing or painting from her immediate environment to The Scrolls.
