“The World As I See It” showcases a visual snippet of the artists’ interpretation of what they see through the lens of their Synesthesia and how audio stimuli alters their visual perception.
Synesthesia is defined as being “a perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway.”

Come along, view the works, and meet the artist while enjoying some light refreshments from Kiosque de Cam and a live guest performance by ANAM.

A propos de
Sora May is a Melbourne based Artist, Textile Designer and Screenprinter from New Zealand. Combining hand drawn techniques with a passion for tactile surfaces led her to a career in Textile Design.
Her work is a playful exploration of how she can push the boundaries of screen printing and visual story telling through an array of different techniques, materials, mediums and innovative inks to create original work that is aesthetically engaging, playful, and ignites a sense of wonder.
