The iconic koala was officially listed as endangered by the Australian Government in February 2022, with less than 100,000 individuals in the wild.
Art Worth Saving is a new project by Convent tenant Simon Swingler, which supports Australia’s endangered species and contributes to the regeneration of their habitats through donations from sales.
Art Worth Saving’s purpose is to help raise awareness of the rapid decline of many Australian species, and to contribute to their preservation. We donate 10% of each beautiful fine art print sold to habitat conservation organisations Bush Heritage Australia and the Tasmanian Land Conservancy.
St Heliers Street Gallery is wheelchair accessible. Gendered toilets are available within the Convent Building, however accessible and gender-neutral toilets are available at other locations within the Abbotsford Convent Precinct.
