Abbotsford Convent takes you inside local artist and designer studios for creative conversations about process and product.

Join Jack Hancock (The System), Kathryn Leopoldseder, Rema O’Neill and Ghostwares, and end your tour with a glass of bubbles and conversations.

About

 Jack Hancock

Jack Hancock’s The System is a collaborative design space, a fashion brand, a bespoke clothing atelier and sewing school. As a multi-functional arts space, The System privileges functional, intelligent clothing that facilitates the realisation of individuals’ authentic expression.

Kathryn Leopoldseder

Katheryn Leopoldseder is an internationally recognised contemporary jeweller, artist and designer. She produces limited-edition handmade jewellery pieces, unique private commissions as well as large-scale objects d’art.

Rema O’Neill

Rema O’Neill is an architect specialising in residential design, thermal performance and social histories.

Ghost Wares

Ghost Wares is a Melbourne-based ceramics studio with an emphasis on creating objects that are elegant but playful. All products are made by hand, allowing for an ever evolving range of complementary pieces. Ghost Wares endeavours to create contemporary products that have an element of timeless restraint.

Accessibility

All Convent Studios are wheelchair accessible.

Melbourne Design Week and the Victorian Design Program are initiatives of the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
