MDW | HERE: Australian Graphic Design – Place and Practice Symposia

HERE is a two hour symposium presented as part of Melbourne Design Week 2026. The program brings together diverse design practitioners from Victoria and beyond, featuring short project-led presentations and open conversations exploring how place shapes visual form, process and authorship.

Visitors can expect talks, case studies and moderated discussions that examine how environment, culture and lived experience influence contemporary Australian graphic design. Rather than defining a single narrative, HERE gathers multiple perspectives grounded in practice and context.
