Born in Pereira, Colombia, Lucrecia Dalt has carved out a distinctive space in contemporary music. Her trajectory from civil engineer to sound artist began while working at a geotechnical company in Medellín, where she discovered computer-based music production – a revelation that completely redirected her life and creative focus. For nearly two decades, Dalt has explored and expanded her sonic palette and surrealist tendencies through solo and collaborative works, including 2022’s ¡Ay!, which earnt recognition from The Wire as album of the year and top ten inclusions in Pitchfork, The New York Times, and NPR’s year’s best. During this period, Dalt also ventured into television film scoring, bringing her distinctive sound design to narrative contexts.
Based on Dharawal Country, Sydney, Liam Keenan and J.WLSN create atmospheric sound fields that orbit the outer most reaches of post rock, ambient electronics and minimalism. Their work, which draws breath from leaning into the murkier and low-end heavy aspects of these worlds, is densely textured and creates a sense of constant folding and deepening. In 2026 they offer their first recording, Country/The Country, which catalogues their pre-occupations with place, sound and resonance.
