François Couperin’s Le Parnasse ou L’Apothéose de Corelli is a picturesque homage to the Italian master through the lens of the French style that had dominated 17th century Europe. This program celebrates the quintessential French and Italian styles through Leclair and Corelli, finishing with Couperin’s wonderful marriage between the two.
