CLOSET takes over the iconic Convent for an outdoor day-to-night dance party

For homosexuals and those who love them, CLOSET run many of Australia’s longest running and legendary day-to-night queer parties, and founded Gaytimes Festival.

Convent Live is a special program celebrating the Convent’s collaboration with incredible arts and creative industries leaders to inspire our community.

Access

• The performance will take place outside (weather permitting).

Mobility

• This event is wheelchair accessible.
• Entrances to this space are wheelchair accessible.
• The ground coverage will be on the uneven surface of the lawn.
• The event location is outdoors and open to the public and there may be some background noise from other events happening at the Convent.

Bathrooms

• There are wheelchair accessible bathrooms close to Mercator lawn in the Sacred Heart building – which is 30m from the area.
• All-gender bathrooms, separate to unisex accessible bathrooms, are available in the Sacred Heart building.

• There is a wheelchair accessible ATM at the precinct.
