Entry is free, and all artworks are available for purchase. Proceeds support the Bob Brown Foundation’s campaign to protect Takayna as a World Heritage–listed National Park, returned to Aboriginal ownership.

Snuff Puppets
Experience a special roaming performance by the Snuff Puppets. Two of their extraordinary Beasts of Oz — a giant Koala and Magpie — will wander through the space, delighting crowds with their playful energy and powerful presence. These larger-than-life creatures celebrate the wonder of Australia’s native wildlife and remind us why our forests must be protected.

Colouring Session with Ghostpatrol
Join the artists for an informal colouring session with Ghostpatrol and BBF campaigners. You will be able to contribute your time and passion to a blank artwork designed by Ghostpatrol, which will then be hanged in the gallery as part of our A4T exhibition. You’ll be provided with tools and materials to take part in this.

A Grand Piano in the Rainforest
For the first time in Australian arts history, a grand piano was placed in a threatened forest in Takayna for pianist Dave McEvoy to compose music and help save Takayna’s ancient landscapes from mining and logging. Immerse yourself in David’s compositions in this unique and breathtaking sound journey.

This annual artist residency is made accessible by Bob Brown Foundation, encouraging artists to immerse themselves in Takayna, to see, feel and breathe the forest, its struggles and its global uniqueness.
Bob Brown Foundation takes direct action to protect nature, stops environmental destruction through the courts and conducts critical science to protect wild places and wildlife.
