The exhibition is a provocation for cultural reconsideration and a personal unburdening, displaying the full collection of packaged ash and inviting each custodian to engage in a one-on-one conversation on the project with the artist before the signing over of their chosen project.
At the completion of this process, Leisa’s aim is to have released the entire archive and for its continuance to live through the Custodians and the resonance of each of the processes that made up the live work of addendum; 2019-2024.
This final live process will also launch the limited edition, handmade book Leisa has produced as a final process and practice development. Copies of the book will be available for sale during the week.
Join us for the Opening Night, Tuesday 18 June, 6pm – 8pm in St Heliers Gallery, at Cam’s Kiosk.
St Heliers Gallery and Cam’s Kiosk are wheelchair accessible.
