This is Not a (Tiny) Shoe

Abbotsford Convent tenants Dragonfly Toys and Pennie Jagiello are collaborating this month to bring This is Not a (Tiny) Shoe to the Sacred Heart Courtyard.

This hands-on workshop invites you to deconstruct a pair of worn children’s shoes and memorialise them as a beautiful flat-lay artwork to display at home.
Those who want to stay on can reconstruct the second shoe into a wearable accessory.

Led by Pennie Jagiello and footwear researcher Dr Alexandra Sherlock, the session includes light refreshments, tools, and tuition.
Ticket proceeds support the establishment of a social enterprise dedicated to creative education about product lifecycles.
