Sora Mai

Sora May is a Melbourne based Artist, Textile Designer and Screenprinter from New Zealand. Combining hand-drawn techniques with a passion for tactile surfaces led her to a career in Textile Design.

Screen printing is her specialty. Her work is a playful exploration of how she can push the boundaries of screen printing through an array of different techniques, materials, mediums and innovative inks to create original work that is aesthetically engaging, playful, and ignites a sense of wonder.

Sora May focuses on unique textile and illustration-based products such as hand screen printed textiles for clothing, homewares, accessories and art pieces.

Each carefully considered product is designed, printed and constructed with eco-conscious materials and practices in mind.
