Oz Tea Fest is launching a new series of tea festivals across Australia in 2026, beginning with its inaugural event in Melbourne at the Convent’s historic Magdalen Laundry.

Blending timeless tea traditions with bold, modern innovation, Oz Tea Fest Melbourne is a one-day celebration designed for everyone from curious sippers to seasoned connoisseurs. The event will feature more than 30 established and emerging tea brands, alongside hands-on workshops, educational talks and immersive experiences exploring the evolving world of tea.

Oz Tea Fest aims to preserve, celebrate and showcase the past, present and future of tea, honouring its rich heritage and ancient practices while championing and embracing the creativity and innovation shaping its future.

Oz Tea Fest Melbourne is led by a small but mighty collective of women who are industry leaders, event producers and passionate tea advocates. Together, they bring decades of experience across beverage production and event delivery, working across events such as BrewIN Melbourne and Brisbane, and the Brisbane Tea Festival, and regularly participating in the original Sydney and Melbourne Tea Festivals.
