A live film set under the key light of the moon, Medium is presented by Ari Angkasa, Abbotsford Convent und Midsumma Festival.

The axis of power is shifting.

Moving between performance lecture, sci-fi thriller, and musical eleganza extravaganza, Medium sees Angkasa perform as the lunar intermediary between stage and screen, unpacking the statecraft of cinema and its power to shape collective identity.

Entertaining but challenging. Hopeless but optimistic. Terrifying but emboldening.

Each night will be uniquely different in an outdoor location.
