As the Producer, Natalie is very busy looking after the Convent’s arts and cultural programs, as well as the huge range of events developed in partnership with artists and organisations. Natalie is passionate about projects that engage with diverse audiences and encourage participation. She has a keen interest in the site’s rich, layered history and loves working with artists who share her enthusiasm and respond to and activate the newly-restored buildings and outdoor spaces.

Hailing from the UK, Natalie has worked as a Producer both here and abroad. Highlights include her recent role as Festival Coordinator for Dance Massive 2019, Associate Producer for Dancehouse projects such as the Keir Choreographic Award as well as producing complex projects with the University of Melbourne, in partnership with NGV and VCA, HillsceneLIVE festival in the Yarra Ranges. In the UK she worked in the producing teams for the International Dance Festival Birmingham, the Breakdance World Championships and DanceXchange.

Natalie is thrilled to be at the Convent and looks forward to enjoying the heritage gardens in the summer. Beyond hanging out at the Convent delivering participatory experiences and a program of events, Natalie enjoys getting down to disco music, attending dance classes and weekends away out of the city exploring in nature.
