Position Vacant, Senior Philanthropy Officer

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated fundraising and development professional to join our team.

The Senior Philanthropy Officer will provide specialist support within the Fundraising and Development department, helping to deliver and grow the Convent’s year-round fundraising initiatives. With your exceptional grant writing skills, complimented by strong research and analytical skills, and excellent project management, copywriting and content creation experience, you will support the Head of Development in maintaining a successful and sustainable philanthropy and development program at the Convent.

The successful applicant will be a personable and driven individual with a strong work ethic, and a passion for turning ambition into reality by developing successful funding submissions. Ideally, you are an all-round enthusiastic and positive team player; a flexible self-starter with a genuine interest in supporting arts, culture, community connectedness and wellbeing.

This is a full-time fixed-term contract role until 30 September 2022, with a salary package of circa $78,000 per annum (plus superannuation). A six-month probation applies.

Position Vacant, Community Arts Officer (Tenancy)

We are looking for a creative, strategic and motivated individual with a great understanding of community engagement at the Convent.

The Community Arts Officer will engage with Australia’s largest creative tenant community. This position reports to the Tenancy Manager and supports tenants through community development, engagement, liaison, and outreach activities. This role requires networking, organisation and interpersonal outreach skills to help identify opportunities to connect with the diverse tenant community, target areas of engagement, and deepen relationships with Abbotsford Convent.

This is a full-time position with a salary package of circa $65,800 per annum (plus superannuation). One-month probation applies.
