Wellbeing at the Convent- 21m2 studio

 

The Abbotsford Convent Foundation (ACF) and WellBeing at the Convent currently invite applications for a Wellbeing tenancy at the Convent to fill a 21m2 space, soon to become available.

Applications are sought from qualified, experienced and community-minded wellbeing practitioners to complement the existing therapies currently available at the Convent.

Suitable modalities include:

  • Naturopathy
  • Nutrition
  • Herbalism
  • TCM
  • Acupuncture
  • Myotherapy
  • Osteopathy
  • Remedial massage
  • Craniosacral therapy
  • Feldenkrais
  • Alexander Technique
  • Shiatsu
  • Psychology
  • Counselling.

About the studio

The 21 square meter studio has an easterly aspect with cathedral height windows, affording plenty of natural light. The carpeted room is self-contained and has 2 lockable doors and hydronic heating.

The immediate wing contains shared kitchenette facilities, a waiting room and toilets. Showers are located within the building and discounted on-site car parking is available.  Inside the Convent grounds, you’ll also find an assortment of food options, weekend markets, galleries and discounted venues to hire for classes and workshops.

  • An established complementary or allied health practitioner, with a strong client base and active practice, who will best support the viability and strength of WellBeing at the Convent.
  • Applicants who demonstrate an interest and capacity to contribute to Wellbeing at the Convent and the broader community, in addition to their own independent practice, creating a professional and welcoming space for all users.

Wellbeing at the Convent – 10m2 studios

 

We currently have several light-filled studios available in our Wellbeing at the Convent wing.

Applications are sought from qualified, experienced and community-minded wellbeing practitioners to complement the existing therapies currently available at the Convent.

Available rooms are suitable for:

About the studios

The 10 square meter studios are self-contained and lockable with hydronic heating. Two of the remaining studios have a sink suitable for massage and other bodywork practices.

The immediate wing offers a shared kitchenette, toilets, and a waiting room.  There are plenty of other amenities available on-site, including discounted car parking. Sitting alongside the Capital City Trail, the Convent is also easily accessible on bike or via public transport.

  • Building Amenities: Lift, stairwell, conference rooms, security doors and showers.
  • Site Amenities: 300 space car park, ATM, cafes, galleries, gardens, conference and meeting rooms
