We currently have one 76m2 studio available in the award-winning Sacred Heart Courtyard. Sitting in a prime ground floor location and full of natural light, this space is perfect for creative organisations that hold a retail component or open hours. The room has courtyard views, is self-contained and lockable, and comes with hydronic heating. Shared kitchenette facilities and bathrooms with shower facilities are nearby.

Sitting alongside the Yarra Capital Trail, the Convent is accessible by bike or via public transport. All tenants receive a discount for use of a 300-space onsite carpark.

Onsite, you’ll find an assortment of delicious food options, markets, venues, a gallery and an extensive program of events and workshops all at your doorstep. Creative Space

A unique opportunity exists to join Australia’s largest creative community. Just four kilometres from the CBD, the Convent – with its historic buildings and lush surrounds – has become an inner-city sanctuary for creative practitioners and organisations seeking a peaceful, yet vibrant working environment.

We are now offering a 29sqm studio in our shared studio space; three artist studios converted from an original 75 square metre space. Situated on Level 2 of the historic Convent building, each studio has separate secure entry via a secure common door. Three quarter–height partition walls allow privacy with the benefit of common lighting and filtered natural light. The space would ideally suit a creative practitioner such as a painter, printmaker or other maker whose practice does not create impactful noise.

A South-facing cathedral height window in the studio overlooks the Heritage Gardens. The space contains 2 heating units and multiple data & electrical outlets.
