Convent Made

Abbotsford Convent is home to a vibrant creative community of more than 120 artists and creatives, as well as a diverse range of organisations and wellbeing practitioners, transforming the precinct into a hub of creative community impact.

Throughout the year there are opportunities to go behind-the-scenes and meet some of these talented artists and makers and explore inside their studios.  Plus you can also buy their unique designs and products from our Convent Made online store anytime. 

Every December,  the Convent also runs a Convent Made pop-up shop, a market to showcase the many beautiful, handcrafted items made locally, right here. All sorts of homewares, jewellery, paintings and ceramics, among other things, are available from makers including Ink & Spindle, Cone 11, Katheryn Leopoldseder, Kids’ Own Publishing, Ghostwares and the Slow Fashion Studio.
