What past interns had to say
"Interning at the Abbotsford Convent has been a wonderful and enlightening experience. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with the ACF team during my time as a Programming Intern assisting on the Spiritous 2014 program. It has provided an invaluable insight into how a well-respected, independent arts organisation works; what it takes to deliver thought-provoking, unique and site-specific art projects that showcase not only the abilities and talents of our artists but also the beauty, relevance and heritage of the Abbotsford Convent. The internship has been a fantastic opportunity to work alongside highly motivated and passionate people and has fostered a greater appreciation of the Convent’s history and what it has to offer to the community." – Jeremy Leung, Programming Intern (2014)
''Coming from a performance background and an interest in getting into Arts and Events management, The Abbotsford Convent internship gave me the perfect opportunity to experience working within an Arts organisation. The internship was an extremely rewarding experience, helping me develop new skills in areas I was very new to. Throughout my internship, I developed a stronger insight into how an arts organisation can operate from hands on experience. It was a fantastic opportunity and a pleasure to work within such a friendly and supportive team in an incredible location.'' – Oliver Christie, Open Day/Event Intern (2014)
