Liquid Architecture Partnership
The Abbotsford Convent Foundation (ACF) proudly presents contemporary arts and cultural work across all art forms. We work collaboratively with artists and in partnership with other arts and cultural organisations to attract diverse audiences, creating new conversations and new ways to engage with our unique, multi-use site. Our audiences love our non-traditional spaces and are engaged with work that encourages new ways to think about art and the world.
In April 2017, the ACF proudly announced a three-year partnership with Liquid Architecture (LA). LA, an Australian organisation for artists working with sound, investigates the sounds themselves, but also the ideas communicated about, and the meaning of, sound.
This partnership sees the Convent as the home for ‘Polyphonic Social’; an annual explosive sound art program which offers an experimental and truly unique experience.
‘Polyphonic Social’ is delivered by avant-garde artists and collectives who ‘do things with sound’ that you’ve never heard of or thought about before.
