Traditional Tibetan Massage
I’ve been extremely privileged to have met and studied with Dr Nida Chenagtsang, who has guided my studies in Sowa Rigpa, the Science of Tibetan Healing.
My approach to massage is simply to guide you to the highest level of relaxation by offering you a calm, gentle and serene environment. The moment you walk into my studio, I want you to feel relaxed, safe and warm.
The practice of Ku Nye Massage dates back more than 3,900 years and is indigenous to the Tibetan medical tradition. It is a nurturing, whole-body massage using oils based on your energy diagnosis. Oil is applied gradually over the body by rubbing, kneading, acupressure and other therapies, according to your diagnosis. It is a relaxation massage for general wellbeing or to treat specific conditions such as headaches, depression, tension, fatigue, neck and back pain.
Other therapies I offer include Seated Chair Massage, Tibetan Usui Reiki and Ear Candling. With membership with Massage Australia Association (MAA) and Yoga Australia (YA), I’m a registered iRest Level 1 Teacher-in-Training and qualified Yoga teacher.
My desire is to offer a relaxed environment and nurturing treatment for my clients, cultivating an intuitive awareness of the connections between the physical body, the stillness of the mind, a pure heart and vital energy.
