Packing Room
Featuring the Sacred Heart building’s trademark raw industrial interiors, and complete with wet room facilities, the Packing Room makes a highly atmospheric, light-filled space to develop, teach, learn and explore hands-on arts and creative practices.
With a concrete floor and a wet area including a large trough for cleaning paint and other arts materials, the Packing Room offers the freedom and flexibility to undertake painting, crafts, textiles, drawing, sculpture, children’s art classes or flower arranging, amongst other workshops and sessions which require wet room capabilities.
The room also includes multiple tables and easels for convenient access.
This room comfortably fits 60 people standing or up to 30 people sitting, and is well heated for winter – a great creative space to inspire your own work, or for teaching and developing work with others.
This space is available to hire seven days a week, from 8.30am – 10pm.
