The Abbotsford Convent is a dynamic, community-focused arts driven site. It spans 16 acres; houses almost 300 learning, wellbeing and creative practitioners and organisations, and now welcomes over one million visitors a year! With a very small staff base, the Abbotsford Convent Foundation is always looking for dedicated and passionate volunteers to help out.

    Tour Guides

Tour guides are a valuable source of information and history. The tour guides provide visitors with a solid understanding of how the site came to be, what it is now and how they can get involved.

    Event Volunteers

On busier days, the Convent welcomes up to 5,000 people over a very short amount of time. That’s why we need a whole army of volunteers beside us,  to give us a much-needed helping hand.
